I bought a jar of these at Maidenhead Farmer’s Market, and they do not disappoint! The heat of the chilies beautifully complementing the sweetness of the syrup. I’ve added some to a mixed bean salad; to avocado on toast; to a shop-bought cheese salad sandwich, and I have lots of other ideas bouncing around in my head!

I adore the flavour of this jam, it reminds of eating Bakewell tart as a child.
